PUSKAPA organized a Learning Series event themed "Technology for Education: Attracting Out-of-School Children, Improving Learning Interest" on Saturday, 16 November 2019. Shintia Revina, RISE researcher, was invited as a speaker to the event.
The purpose of this Learning Series event is to provide a brief overview of the current conditions of the Indonesian education sector and the limited access of vulnerable groups to quality education, as well as the role of digital technology in increasing children's interest in learning and attracting out-of-school children. Shintia shared the findings of the Reform Area B study on Educational Innovation in the District/City, especially digital technology innovation, in the City of Yogyakarta, Bukittinggi (West Sumatra), and Gowa District (South Sulawesi).
