Description:

Student grading system towards learning outcome in the primary education level has undergone fundamental changes in the past five years. SMERU's Diagnostic Study team along with AIGHD and Mathematica Policy Research has done a research using the SABER-like instrument. This study is done through deep interview with stakeholders at central level (Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Religious Affairs) from August to September 2017. Early findings show that changes in student grading system has the potential to increase accountabilty despite different obstacles still being found that directly contribute to learning improvement.
