*The event was held in Bahasa Indonesia.
The city of Yogyakarta is one of RISE Learning Laboratory areas. There were three studies conducted in Yogyakarta City: a study related to the impact of zoning new student admissions policies (PPDB) on student learning outcomes, a study on student learning outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and a study on sociocultural drivers of local educational innovations at the district/city level.
In collaboration with Yogyakarta City's Education and Culture Agency, RISE Programme in Indonesia held a dissemination event (workshop) "Learning from Yogyakarta City's Education Policy Innovations". The event was held to conveying the results of the study to stakeholders involved in the study, such as the education office, teachers, principals, parents of students, and other stakeholders in Yogyakarta. In addition, the workshop was also arranged to encourage further discussion on innovation in education policies in Yogyakarta City and neighbouring cities/districts.
