Christopher Chambers-Ju is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Texas, Arlington. Previously, he was a visiting assistant professor at the College of the Holy Cross and a postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Inter-American Policy and Research at Tulane University. Chris earned a PhD in political science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017, where he was the recipient of the NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship. His research focuses on how teachers’ unions mobilize in politics and influence policy, with a comparative focus on Latin America. He has published articles in Comparative Politics and in a number of edited volumes.
