Samuel Nursamsu

Samuel is a quantitative researcher for RISE (Research on Improving System of Education) Programme in Indonesia, specializing in data analysis and econometrics. In RISE Programme in Indonesia, he is involved in studies on the diffusion of education policies in Indonesia. Samuel got his master’s degree in Economics from University of Wisconsin – Madison, funded by USAID Prestasi scholarship, and his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universitas Indonesia. He is also currently an economist for Prospera, an Australian and Indonesian government partnership for economic development. Prior to joining SMERU, he was a researcher for ERIA (Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia), Rumah Riset Presisi Indonesia, and The Nielsen Company Indonesia.
